No Tiene Teleraña (No Cobwebs) is the name
of Los Jubilados' third CD, out on the streets in Mexico in September
2001, and the title refers to the up-beat opening track as well
as to the great creativity and energy of this band which, although
it is made up of nine old men who play the traditional son and
bolero repertoire from Santiago de Cuba, offer a very fresh and
unique take on this long-lived music.

Los
Jubilados will present this CD on tour in Mexico in November this
year, with shows that range from the most hallowed concert halls
to open air concerts that are free to the Mexican dance public
which has taken this band to heart.
